PSA’s CXO Candice Aragon Named Chair of Women in Security Forum

June 18, 2025

PSA is excited to share that CXO Candice Aragon has been named the new chair of SIA's Women In Security Forum (WISF).

Candice now leads the charge for an entire community of women in security, helping shape the future of the security industry on a national level. She continues to lead with heart and purpose, not just at PSA but across the security landscape. She’s constantly lifting others up, mentoring women, advocating for equity and pushing for meaningful progress.

A Letter From the New Chair of WISF

I'm thrilled to be assuming the role of chair of SIA's Women in Security Forum! The last few months have been wonderful for women in security. We celebrated the 2025 Power 100 honorees at ISC West and with over 400 nominations, the honorees' stories are made of resilience, determination and unapologetic ambition.

The winners excel in their professional positions and have inspired countless others to believe in their own power and potential along the way. I’ve been in security for six years now and have never been more fulfilled in my career. So much of this I attribute to the amazing community of women I am surrounded with in this industry. We build each other up, cheer one another on and offer support through challenges.

It’s not always easy being in a male-dominated field, but we are navigating it together and creating an industry even better than the one we joined. Abraham Lincoln said, "The best way to predict the future is to create it."

Every day, I see fearless women, like many on the list, boldly leading the way in security and beyond. The future of security is female if you ask me!

In addition to honoring the Power 100 winners, this year's SIA Women in Security Forum Essentials 4 Job Security Giveback at ISC West was an incredible success, thanks to an amazing team of UpliftHER subcommittee volunteers and some energized individuals and companies that generously supported our cause. We collected a record amount of clothing and accessories to donate to Dress for Success Southern Nevada (far exceeding our goal of 2,000 items), as well as $2,000 in gift cards to TJ Maxx; provided over 1,000 notes of encouragement that will be included with outfits when women "shop" at the Dress for Success boutique; and hosted a group of women on Friday at the show to expose them to potential careers in the security industry.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort! I look forward to seeing so many of you at future WISF events.
