Welcome to PSA CEO Matt Barnette from PSA Chairman Dan Budinoff

Happy New Year to the PSA Network! We are all hoping for a better year in 2021. Our industry is continuing to weather this challenging storm, but just know that if your organization is struggling, PSA has your back. Please reach out to our team to let us know how we can support you.

I wanted to send a warm welcome to PSA’s new CEO, Matt Barnette. Matt is a seasoned security industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. Many of you know and respect Matt. He was most recently Vice President at HID of Physical Access Control Solutions in the North America Business Unit after the acquisition of Mercury Security where he was hired as President in June 2016. Prior to that, Matt was President of AMAG Technology – a G4S Company – and spent 12 years working in various roles within the global organization.

I’ve heard from many in the industry who have great respect for Matt. I am personally impressed by his work ethic, thirst for knowledge and desire to keep PSA on solid footing for years to come. His employment history depicts an industry veteran who has held significant management positions that will be a very good foundation for his tenure at PSA. He has loads of industry connections and is well known to many of the manufacturers and integrators. I expect great results with Matt at the helm.

Matt will work alongside Bill for the beginning of 2021 to ensure a smooth transition and you will have opportunities to hear from both in the coming months. Best of luck in the New Year – brighter days are ahead.
