Bob Hinton joined Pathway Technologies in 2015 and is Director of Corporate Accounts. He has 30 years of experience in Physical Security Systems. He lives in Raleigh, NC and works out of Pathway’s Corporate Office. Bob talked with PSA about Pathway’s history and their unique partnership model.

How long has Pathway Technologies been in business?

Pathway Technologies, Inc. was formed in 2008. Pathway is a full-service electronic systems integrator that specializes in the design, installation, service and support of the latest network, electronic security and healthcare technologies. Pathway is headquartered in Raleigh, NC and has locations in Charlotte, NC, Kernersville, NC, Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA.

What makes Pathway Technologies unique?

Pathway has expertise in Enterprise Systems’ deployment and support. Pathway has developed a network of qualified integration partners (many PSA Partners) which allow us to provide our professional services throughout the US and even globally. We have an internal process that we have developed to qualify and vet these partners in our network. This qualification process requires from the partner a strict code of ethics, training and certification standards, customer service and response time. With these types of deployments, we have a dedicated project manager who is the single point of contact and ensures that these standards are met and that the customer’s policies and installation standards are followed.

Our goal is to stay abreast of the latest industry requirements and technological advancements to help protect our healthcare customers’ physical assets, staff and patients.

What vertical markets does Pathway Technologies serve?

In addition to offering traditional physical security technologies, Pathway has a healthcare division which specializes in providing: Nurse Call Systems, Real Time Locating Systems, Infant/Patient Protection Systems and Elder Care Technologies. Our healthcare experts stay informed of the regulatory requirements of CMS, HIPPA, OSHA and the Joint Commission; and we understand the financial implications of HCAHPS surveys. Our goal is to stay abreast of the latest industry requirements and technological advancements to help protect our healthcare customers’ physical assets, staff and patients.
