Jessica Tabuyo

Describe your job in a couple of sentences: I assist customers in placing orders. I answer product and service questions as well as being a liaison between customers and vendors. The job also entails tracking placed orders and follow up. I strive for excellent customer service and creating strong relationships with my customers.

How long have you worked for PSA?  3 months.

Can you share a little bit of information about your professional background? I started my career in 1999 in the dental field. I grew professionally throughout my 19 years in the clinical, insurance and management field. Managing and being part of a nonprofit dental clinic for 11 years and working with the underserved and homeless population has taught me great compassion and change management over my career.  From there I worked office management and dental insurance billing and claims. I enjoyed the communication aspect of insurance and wanted to do more in customer relations.

What was it about PSA that caught your interest? PSA is a highly valued reputable company. I also heard many great things about PSA from word of mouth. The fact that so many employees have enjoyed many years at PSA and staff retention is one of the highest I have seen in my career.

What do you enjoy most about working here? I love the atmosphere here. All the staff members are happy and helpful. PSA treats their customers the exact same way they treat their staff members. Everyone celebrates big and small accomplishments of one another and it creates a welcoming and supportive work environment.

What do you like to do for fun? Being a Colorado Native, I adore the beautiful state I live in. Sunny days with snow are some of the best weather. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, I enjoy volunteering in bible learning and teaching. I enjoy many genres of music. Singing old country songs around a campfire with the stars out is one of my favorite things to do. I have 2 sons almost out of high school, and we enjoy going to movies on the regular.

Any fun or interesting facts about yourself?  The book, The Blazed Trails of Antoine Leroux, was written about a family member of mine. I play the viola and am learning how to speak French and how to play the guitar.
