This year’s ISC West attendance topped 29,000 people! ISC West 2024 was held at the Venetian Expo in Vegas on April 9-12. Check out how the PSA Network spent its week from the PSA@ISC education track to covering the show floor below. As always, it was an incredible event!

Mastering Marketing Outreach for Security Integrators: Strategies for Success

Marketing experts Candice Aragon, PSA CXO, Marissa Vacek, PSA Swell Marketing Agency managing director, Taylor Neal, Integrated Protection Services marketing manager, and John Nemerofsky, SAGE Integration COO, shared marketing strategies to guarantee security integrators’ success in attracting clients and building lasting relationships.

Organizational Structure: Setting Your Organization Up for Success!

PSA CEO and President Matt Barnette joined Preferred Technologies, LLC President Shaun Castillo and RFI General Manager Dee Ann Harn to discuss optimizing organizational structure through effective leadership, organizational development framework and strategic scalability moderated by PSA Director of Learning & Development Brooke Erickson.

Effective Project Planning within a Team: Maximizing Team Collaboration

PSA Network panelists led “Effective Project Planning within a Team” where they dove into the intricacies of project planning, strategies to bolster team collaboration for enhanced efficiency and opened the floor to session participants to share their own experiences. Our expert panelists included ECD Systems Arizona Program Manager Anson McEachern, QCIC Senior Program Manager Deanna VanHout, Northland Controls Global Account Manager Tyrone Chambliss and WeSuite President Tracy Larson.

Navigating Challenges in Security Integration: Proven Solution Approaches for Success

How do security integrators navigate critical challenges in security integration? PSA CEO and President Matt Barnette, Integrated Security Technologies Inc. President Christine Lanning, ECD Systems Arizona CEO Mike Bradley and Integrated Security & Communications COO Jim Lonie have the answers! The group shared real-world examples and solutions such as aligning technology with business goals, optimizing workforce and project management, mitigating cybersecurity risks and a book recommendation, Traction by Gino Wickman, to name a few.

Generational Shift in the Workforce: Adapting to the Changing Dynamics

PSA Director of Learning & Development Brooke Erickson, Allied Universal Senior Director of National Service Tia M. Eskandari, SAGE Integration Vice President of Human Resources Lori Hudnall and PSA CXO Candice Aragon close out day one at ISC West education with an important discussion on characteristics, values and expectations of different generations in the workforce and how to capitalize on everyone’s strengths.

Sales Prospecting: Techniques and Strategies for Effective Outreach

This panel of experts equipped participants with sales prospecting techniques and strategies, such as always servicing your customer, using service as your strategy, educating your technicians on the right questions to ask in the field and more, enabling them to maximize their outreach efforts. The panel was moderated by Vector Firm’s Gannon Switzer, and he was joined by speakers Chris Peterson also with Vector Firm, Pauline Powell with LONG Building Technologies and PSA’s Diana Hanna-Bradley. Each year, Security Industry Association (SIA) and SIA Women in Security Forum honor 100 women who lead, inspire and innovate in the global security industry. The Power 100 honorees are also recognized and celebrated at the Power 100 breakfast at ISC West. PSA is proud to recognize its 28 members and partners featured in the 2024 SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100! Check them out here. Congratulations to PSA’s own Candice Aragon and Brooke Erickson for being honored as SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100 and to all the incredible honorees who are role models in the industry.

PSA CXO Candice Aragon serves as the WISF vice chair alongside WISF Chair Alice DiSanto.

PSA ON THE ISC WEST SHOW FLOOR

This year, PSA’s booth was located in the lobby. It was a great spot to provide a meeting space for our members, meet new potential members and connect with our peers. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about PSA and meet our new employees, Tori Lovelace, director of sales – West, and Kelly Smith, director of sales – Central.

There were endless opportunities to meet with our network from the show floor to off-site lunches and receptions. PSA was honored to have a full schedule! Thank you to all the partners and members who value PSA’s presence in the industry.
